A slick actioner starring Rajinikanth is more than an awaited film.  We want nothing less than a cult hit from the Basha sensation.  Pa.Ranjith's Kabali promises to be one.  Set to be released in the last week of May or first week of June, this expensive film has Rajini in the role of an aged gangster. 

This S Thanu-produced film has music by Santosh Narayanan.  Radhika Apte, Dhansika, Dinesh Ravi, Kalaiyarasan, Kishore, and John Vijay are part of the cast.  Mostly shot in Malaysia, this film traces the don's rise.  Touted to be an underworld flick, Kabali sees Radhika Apte playing Rajini's wife. 

Seetharama Sastry, Chandrabose, and Ananth Sriram are penning the lyrics.  Cinematography is by Murali.  Art direction is by Ramalingam. Stunt choreography is by Anbarivu.  Dialogues are by Sahithi. 

Rajini's intense look has only raised the curiosity around this slick actioner.
