'Kaithi 2' will be directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, with Karthi in the lead role. The film will be jointly produced by Dream Warrior Pictures and KVN Productions. The shooting is expected to commence by the end of this year.

Lokesh Kanagaraj’s cinematic universe started with 'Kaithi,' followed by 'Vikram' and 'Leo.' Now, he is set to direct 'Kaithi 2.' In numerous interviews, he has stated that 'Vikram 2' will be the final movie in this universe.
