The terrific 'Kaithi' teaser is here as not only an assembly of gritty images but recreating the raw mass screen presence of Karthi and enhancing the reputation of Lokesh Kanagaraj multifold. The cuts spell a single night event of bloody crime with both the cops and the criminals baying for the blood of one nameless man who is obviously an escaped convict.

What type of man the 'Kaithi' is is shown with telling effect in the shot Karthi enjoys his chicken biriyani with the broken cuffs and his enemies closing in as if he is at a leisure resort. Sam CS with the background theme "Long night...in the cameflouge of the forest....a battle begins" is spine chilling while Sathyan Sooryan's eerie night shots of crimes and criminals holds the neck scruff. Philomin Raj has built up the tension parallely with the protoganist's character build ups making it a double treat. On the whole the Karthi-Lokesh- S.R. Prabhu team have come up with an absolute winner of a teaser.
