Kajal Aggarwal is one of the top actresses in Tamil and Telugu, and she had last appeared in Tamil in the 2017 movie Mersal. Her Paris Paris had been wrapped and is awaiting release for quite some time, while the Kamal Haasan starrer Indian 2 is expected to start soon.

After two years, Kajal Aggarwal will have a Tamil release on this Independence day, as her next movie Comali, starring Jayam Ravi in lead, was announced as an August 15 release recently, and this movie directed by debutant Pradeep Ranganathan will also star Yogi Babu and Samyuktha Hegde.



Kajal Aggarwal expressed that her happiness is doubled, as another movie of her, the Telugu movie Ranarangam starring Sharwanand is also releasing on the same day. The excited Kajal Aggarwal posted photos from both the movies and tweeted "Happiness doubled #Comali & #Ranarangam from 15th August!!".
