Kajal faces setback in legal battle

One of the most sought after leading ladies of the South cinema, Kajal Agarwal is also a much in demand model who has endorsed many brands in the past. In 2008, she had featured in the commercial of a popular coconut oil brand. Kajal filed a case in the court stating that the coconut oil company is still playing the ad she featured in and also claimed Rs. 2.50 Cr as compensation.
The case came up for hearing today (9/8/2017) and the judge Ravindran dismissed Kajal Agarwal's case stating that according to the Indian Copyrights Act the company can utilize ads for a period of sixty years.
Meanwhile, her film 'Nene Raju-Nene Mantri' will hit the screens on August 11th.
