Modhi Vilayadu was a decent Box Officer grosser when it was released in 2009. The Charan-directed (Autograph fame) film is being dubbed in Telugu (titled as Benami Velakotlu) and will be released in the second week of October.
The film stars Vinay Rai, Kalabhavan Mani, Cochin Hanifa, Santhanam and others in important roles.
According to Ch. V.S.S. Babji, who is producing the Telugu version, the movie tells the story of a multi-billionaire tycoon and his travails when he wages a desperate battle to save his son from impending troubles.
The film's plot takes an interesting turn when an element of mistaken identity makes its way into the story.
The film has music by singer-turned-musician Hari Haran.
