Arya had a great beginning with his movies Ullam Ketkumae and Arindhum Ariyamalum making it big at the box office.Unfortunately his last movie Oru Kalorien Kathai came crashing down. Now he has the huge task of setting things right in Kalaba Kadhalan. He is paired with the comely Renuka Menon.

Debutant director Igor, a one-time associate of directors like Velu Prabhakaran, Narayanamoorthy and Nandha Periyasamy, has also penned the story, screenplay.

While Arya plays the character of a computer engineer, Renuka Menon and newcomer Akshaya add glamour and glitter to the movie whose story is a responsible and romantic one.

Renuka and Akshaya have given authenticity to the characters of Anbarasi and Kanmani, says the director.

Debutant Niru has composed the music, which would attract youths, opines Igor.

A great admirer of Balachander's classics, Igor says, 'he (KB) had excelled in narrating a tale and making the viewers ponder over the issues. In my films too will I be happy to carry some message while fashioning it on commercial lines.'

Arya says that doing Kalaba Kadhalan was a totally different experience. `It was a role quite different from my earlier ones. I hope to make it big among audience after the release'

Renuka Menon has had a dismal beginning in Kollywood with both her films taking a beating.

The movie would be released December.
