This Pongal is going to be a celebratory occassion for movie buffs in the state as four highly anticipated movies are all set to hit the screens. The latest and the fourth film to join the Pongal race is comedy entertainer ‘Kalakalappu 2’ as well.

Regarding this, the film’s director Sundar.C assured the movie for a Pongal release stating that it was perfect release date for a comedy drama like ‘Kalakalappu 2’. Moreover the director also added that the film will be censored before the end of this year. The sequel features Jai, Jiiva and Shiva in the lead roles with actresses Nikki Galrani and Catherine Tresa essaying the female leads.

Apart from this three other films are also due release this Pongal namely Vikram’s ‘Sketch’, Suriya’s ‘Thaana Serndha Koottam’ and Vimal’s ‘Mannar Vagera’.
