Kallappadam
The Tamil cinema has witnessed a massive transformation in the recent years with the arrival of sensible low budget movies. We can quote movies like, ‘Soodhu Kavvum’, ‘Onaayum Aattukkuttiyum’, ‘Moodar Koodam’, ‘Sathuranga Vettai’, and a few more. But, the commercial success of all the above movies isn’t guaranteed, and they all solely rely on the word of mouth for their box office success.
‘Kallappadam’ is all about four youngsters, who are trying their best to make it big in the dream town and whether they achieve their goals in their respective fields or not forms the story line. Debutante, Vadivel, who is a former associate of Mysskin has directed the movie and played one of the lead roles. The most interesting this is, the director, editor, cameraman, and musician of this movie have played their real identity, on-screen.
The movie is getting ready to hit the screens for this weekend and hoping that it will write a new chapter in k-town. Mysskin himself is releasing the movie and making sure that his assistant is not facing the same trouble like he did during the ‘Onaayum Attukkuttiyum’ days.
