Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is currently busy working on his next film titled Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi. The film features Vijayashanthi as Kalyan Ram's mother and she will be seen as a police officer. The team launched the teaser the other day. The teaser showcases Vijayashanthi expressing a desire to see her son become a police officer. However, Kalyan Ram becomes the opposite as an anti-social evil.

Now, after the teaser release, there have been a lot of reports in the media that the film looks similar to that of Nagarjuna's super hit film Vicky Dada.

The film's plot is as follows: Vikram is a law graduate. He and Sravani are in love. One day, she leaves town for a while and returns to see Nagarjuna as a thug named Vicky Dada (his title role). Nagarjuna became a criminal because of the corruption in court. He is after the villains to stop them and help the poor.

Going by the plot above, it looks like Kalyan Ram also wanted to become a police officer but an incident must have triggered such that he called off his plan to become a cop and ended up being a criminal. Now, Vijayashanthi who loves his son abundantly has to go against him strictly. The emotional game that exist between them would be very much interesting.

However, there is no official confirmation on these similarities now.
