Kamakshi Bhaskarla Revealed as Mahadevi in ‘Agadha’; MS Raju’s Mystical Thriller Builds Buzz

Renowned filmmaker M. S. Raju, known for producing cult classics like Devi, Shatruvu, Okkadu, Varsham, Manasantha Nuvve, and Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana, and for directing films such as Dirty Hari and Malli Pelli, is back with an intriguing new project titled ‘Agadha’. The film is being crafted as a mystical, divine thriller, already generating strong curiosity among audiences.

Following the buzz created by its first-look poster, the makers have now unveiled a key update. The mysterious woman seen standing before a divine idol in the poster has been officially revealed as Kamakshi Bhaskarla. She plays the pivotal role of Mahadevi in the film.

With this announcement, the enigmatic visual from the first look now gains a powerful identity. Kamakshi’s appearance—draped in a traditional black saree, seated solemnly amid tridents, lamps, and a towering idol—adds depth and intensity to the narrative. Her fierce expression and commanding screen presence, combined with the spiritual backdrop, strongly indicate that Mahadevi is not a conventional character but one deeply intertwined with the film’s core spiritual theme.
