Kamal comes to Asin's rescue

Asin’s spirits are soaring high as she eagerly awaits the release of 'Dasavatharam', in which Kamal Haasan plays the lead role(s).

Asin, who use to do dubbing for her films, has done it in 'Dasavatharam' too. Dubbing for 'Dasavatharam' was not an easy task, as it involves getting well versed with Brahmin – Iyengar, to be specific – slang. Though the actress from Kerala is comfortable with Tamil, she is not familiar with Brahminical slang.

However, Kamal, who is an Iyengar by birth, came to her rescue. “I am doing the role of an Iyengar girl in the movie. When I was in a fix as to how I am going to manage with the right pronunciation, Kamal came for my help and taught me things,” she acknowledges.

Interestingly, 'Dasavatharam' stars Kamal is ten different roles and is the tenth film of Asin in Tamil.

It is worth mention here that Asin does the dubbing for her role in the Hindi remake of 'Ghajini' opposite Aamir Khan.
