Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan was hospitalized on November 22nd after testing positive for coronavirus and has remained in isolation for the past ten days. He appeared from his ward through video conferencing on 'Bigg Boss 5' to inform that Ramya Krishnan will takeover from him temporarily.

On Tuesday a rumour spread that Kamal was discharged from the hospital but official spokespersons of the Makkal Needhi Maiam denied it. Today the SRCH has released a statement saying that the legend has fully recovered and will be discharged on December 2nd. The doctors have advised him to isolate at home till the 3rd and resume his day to day work from the 4th onwards.

The news has come as a huge relief for fans and this means that in all probability Kamal may be back to hosting 'Bigg Boss 5' from the second weekend of December and later resume shooting 'Vikram'.
