There’s strong buzz in the Tamil film industry that Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan may team up with director Arun Kumar for an upcoming project, with discussions reportedly in progress.

Arun Kumar, who made an impressive debut with Pannaiyarum Padminiyum starring Vijay Sethupathi, has since delivered notable films like Sethupathi, Sindhubaadh, and Siddha. He is currently working on Veeratheera Sooran, a two-part film starring Vikram, with the first installment now in production.

Sources reveal that once Veeratheera Sooran is complete, Arun Kumar is expected to begin work on a new film featuring Kamal Haasan in the lead. Reports suggest Kamal was impressed by the story and has agreed to act in and produce the film under his banner, Rajkamal Films International. Arun Kumar is currently fine-tuning the screenplay, and an official announcement is expected soon.

Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan is busy with a project directed by stunt choreographer duo Anbariv. Following that, he will appear in Indian 3 and the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD.
