The ruling party and some of the opposition in Tamil Nadu may keep criticizing Kamal Haasan's entry into politics but one has to give it to him for relentlessly travelling the length and breadth of the state and meeting people. The Makkal Neethi Maiam leader was at Nallampalli in Dharmapuri district and held a roadside meeting perched on top of a van to a sizeable crowd.

A little baby was handed over to Kamal on top of the van and when he tried to give her back to her parents she refused to go and held on tightly to the legendary actor turned politician amidst of thundering cheers from the crowd.

Kamal speaking at the event stated that he is a representative of the anger in the people and will always remain as one of them.
