Kamal Haasan meets TN Chief Minister M.K. Stalin pics go viral

The Makkal Needhi Maiam President, Kamal Haasan today paid a surprise visit to the new Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin at his residence. Stalin's son Udhayanidhi also was present and it is said that it was a courtesy call to congratulate the DMK leader who is going to assume office on the 7th of May.

Kamal Haasan during the election campaigns was severely critical of both the then ruling party ADMK as well the DMK. He projected himself as the alternative to the two traditional Dravidian parties but his party did not win even one seat though he and a few others gave a tough fight.

While in the past there was animosity between the rival political parties people have witnessed a drastic change now. The incumbent Chief Minister Edappadi Pazhaniswamy was one of the first to wish Stalin on his win and he reciprocated by stating that democracy means a combination of the ruling and the opposition parties indicating that he is ready for a more friendly approach.

Now Kamal meeting Stalin in person and presenting him a bouquet has even more clearly underlined that civility is the name of the game in Tamil Nadu at these testing times.
