Recently, the unfortunate crane accident in the sets of Shankar's Indian 2 starring Kamal Haasan, had lead to the death of three members of the crew, and this had left the whole industry in shock. Kamal Haasan, Kajal Aggarwal and Shankar had a narrow escape from death.

Kamal Haasan had announced a financial assistance of 1 crore for the families of the deceased, and Lyca Productions Chairman and founder Subaskaran had also announced financial support. Now Kamal Haasan has sent a letter to Subaskaran, expressing his thoughts about the accident.

Kamal Haasan has written that the incident continues to haunt him, and he feels remorseful that the people who were interacting with him are no more. Kamal further has said that safety must be ensured by the production team and such accidents can destroy the confidence of the team. Kamal has demanded that he wants to know the steps taken by the team to ensure safety and also the insurance details, and has also instructed the production house to ensure medical help. Only if the steps are taken, the team including himself can report to shoot with confidence, ended Kamal Haasan's note.
