The demise of Stephen Hawking comes off as disconcerting with shock, grief and disappointment to millions of people in the world apart from the scientific community. While the leading names from the scientific community have been paying their respects to the scientist, Kamal Haasan of Makkal Needhi Maiam has expressed his feelings as well.

“Thank you for the time you spent with the people of this world Mr. Stephen Hawking. The world will cherish your memory,” he stated in his social page. He also opined that ‘we’ people do not forget the contibutions and the wisdom that he has bestowed on us.
