Kamal sympathises for Theni forest fire victims

The recent fire mishap in Theni district has brought grief and shock to the people of Tamil Nadu. While 30 individuals have been rescued about 9 are dead as of now. The trekkers were on their way back from a trek to Korangani hills, when they were trapped in a massive forest fire. The Indian Airforce helicopters are engaged in identifying stranded individuals.
Kamal Haasan of Makkal Needhi Maiam took to his social page to express his feeling regarding the same. “Kurangani forest fire and its victims is heart rending. Those with burn injuries should heal fast. I wish them all the best for recovery and rehabilitation. To those bereived families my deepest sympathy” he tweeted. Here’s the tweet below:
