Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan was on a live chat with Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi on Saturday which had fans wanting more from these two terrific actors of different generations. Kamal during the interaction revealed that he is floored by the courage that Vijay Sethupathi has not to go aftermarket considerations but continuing his search for meaningful and challenging roles which the veteran said would take his younger colleague to greater heights. Kamal also urged VJS to go to the next level in his career as an actor and star and that he would whistle for him in his efforts.

Kamal shared that his gurus such as K. Balachander and Anandhu showed him great actors including Sivaji Ganesan and that is what pushed him towards his goal. Vijay Sethupathi on his part expressed his awe for Kamal's unparalleled performance as the dwarf Appu in 'Apoorva Sagodharargal'.

Vijay Sethupathi also said that Kamal's works are the textbooks that cinema lovers can use to learn how to make movies. The Ulaganayagan credited K.
