Kamal Haasan names three actors he considers the best in India

Kamal Haasan has been crowned the best actor in India unanimously by all his contemporaries. Yesterday he celebrated his 65th birthday also stepping into the 60th year of his career in cinema. In his hometown, Paramakudi where he inaugurated his father D. Srinivasan's statue newsmen quizzed him about who he considers the best actor after himself.

Kamal stated that in Tamil not one but many have the talent to fill in his shoes but on a wider spectrum he has named Fahadh Fazil from Malayalam and Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Shashank Arora from Hindi who are his current favorites. The Ulaganayangan also mentioned that Nawazuddin Siddiqui who acted in Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Petta' assisted him in 'Hey Ram' and also had a small role in it. But the actor was disappointed that his role was chopped at the editing table.

Regarding Shashank Arora, Kamal stated that he reminds him of his icon and mentor Nagesh and at a very young age has proven to be a great talent who has impressed him very much. Kamal is expected to make important announcements today after inaugurating the new office of his production company Raj Kamal Films International.
