Papanasam', the Tamil remake of the superhit Malayalam film Drishyam' has completed twenty five successful days at the box office in spite of the Baahubali' storm and is still holding good riding on the strong performance of Kamal Haasan in the role of Suyambulingam.

The Ulaganayagan recently heaped praise on Mohanlal saying that it was he who gave shape to the character in the original and Kamal just followed him. It is quite rare that an actor of Kamal's caliber giving credit to another highly rated superstar, proving once again that he places art above everything else.
