Actor Kamal Haasan has joined hands with director Shankar after more than two decades, for Indian 2 which is the sequel to their 1996 movie Indian, and the movie which features a huge star cast and produced by Lyca Productions recently resumed shooting.

Now, a story has been making rounds on the internet, claiming to be the story of Indian 2. As per the story, Siddharth and Rakul Preet Singh play a couple who own a website that exposes corruption, and as the couple receive threats, Indian Senapathi comes from abroad to help the couple.

The rest of the story is about how Indian punishes the corrupt with help from Kajal Aggarwal who is also trained in varma kalai martial arts. Though there is no confirmation on whether this is the story of Indian 2, this plot has been turning viral. Indian 2 is expected to release on Tamil new year 2021.
