'Papanasam' , the remake of the super hit Malayalam film Drishyam` has Kamal Haasan and Gautami in lead roles with veteran Malayalam actor Kalabhavan Mani playing a major role for the first time with Kamal.

In the film, which is set in Tirunelveli demanded that everyone spoke the slang to perfection. Kalabhavan Mani found it difficult to nail it, but the master of slangs of all languages Kamal Haasan chipped in and trained Mani who then did a great job of rendering flawless Nellai Tamil after that. 'Papanasam' is likely to follow Uttama Villain` as Kamal`s next film.
