Kamal Haasan unites with Sachin Tendulkar

For decades since becoming a leading hero of South Indian cinema Kamal Haasan stayed away from brand endorsements. Last year he surprised everyone by being a part of the advertisement campaign of a popular textile brand in Tamil Nadu.
This year he has stepped into the small screen as the host of Big Boss reality show in a Tamil satellite channel
Now the Ulaganayagan has associated himself with the Kabbadi team. Kamal will be the brand ambassador of the Tamil Thalaivas Pro-Kabbadi League Season 5. The Chennai franchise Tamil Thalaivas is co-owned by Cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar and it will be making its debut in Pro-Kabbadi League in the upcoming fifth season.
The official press statement from the organizers of Thamil Thalaivas said, it was said that it was a unanimous choice to bring Haasan on board, given his love for sports.
Speaking about the new venture, the 'Viswaroopam' star said “I am honoured to associate myself strongly with the sport of Kabbadi. I take personal pride in highlighting the profile of a sport developed by my ancestors thousands of years ago. I am glad the team owners chose me. My dear Thalaivas fill your lungs with pride and cross the line to take the game across to international adulation.”
