The man behind the Indian constitution and the champion of social equality Doctor Babasaheb Ambedkar's 129th birth anniversary is celebrated today, and followers of the great leader have been expressing their wishes via social media.

Actor Kamal Haasan, who has been known for his unique wishes on birth anniversaries of national leaders like Mahatma Gandhi has now shared a thoughtful message praising Ambedkar, on his Twitter handle.

Kamal Haasan's post in Tamil translates to "It is this man's dream that India should not discriminate people based on religion, race, language or profession and treat everyone equally that has become a shield protecting the rights of people. Chasing and driving away people who discriminate people is the respect we give to Ambedkar".
