The rationalist Kamal Haasan has hardly acted in any devotional or mythological films. There are few instances in his long lasting career where he appeared in godly or mythological characters but almost all of them have been cameo appearances or in dream songs.

However the legendary actor does not seem to be completely averse of acting in mythological characters. In an exclusive interview

In an exclusive interview to Indaiglitz, the legendary star revealed which mythological character he would wish to act as and make a film on.

Kamal said "I would love to do a film on Lankeshwar (Ravanan the lead negative character of the great Indian epic Ramayana)."

If this becomes a reality who would play Rama? Well it will be a worthwhile wait for every movie buff to see this happen.
