Kamal on Rajinikanth: Same goal, but different paths

Now that Kamal Hassan has professed his political ambitions to become CM for Tamil Nadu, people are curious if earlier predictions of the Ulaganayagan joining hands with Superstar Rajinikanth still hold its veracity.
The legendary actor said in a recent interview that he had met with the Superstar and have discussed his political stand several times. He also told that even though both of them share the same political goal of uprooting corruption from the state, the path and direction that each treads on is different.
Admitting to the fact that winning in a election independently is a behemoth task, Kamal also stated that such feats have been made in the past as well. The actor also stood by his decision to stand in elections independently no matter what.
Expressing disconcert over the present condition of political affairs in the state, Kamal reiterated his desire to save the people from this predicament.
