Court's decision on Kamal's Hindu extremism remark- details here

Kamal Hassan’s remarks regarding Hindu extremism a few days back stirred controversy. Many Hindu factions condemned the actor’s opinions. A complaint was filed regarding this by aperson named Devarajan in the Chennai High Court.

The court which earlier stated that action will be taken the grounds against which Kamal was alleged is proven.  However, the court today has advised the police officials to take action upon the actor only upon the proof of grounds (cognisable offense) alleged against the actor.
