Anticipation of millions of fans, followers and loyalists have finally come to an end. On this red-letter day, as hundreds of supporters thronged his maiden political convention at Othakadai of Madurai, Kamal hoisted his party’s political flag for the very first time.

Amidst the uproar from fans, the intriguing flag for his party 'Makkal Needhi Maiam' was unveiled by Kamal. The party flag’s symbol has six arms (three white and three bright red) enjoined together in a tight hold in unision. In addition to this, a centre black space is engraved with a white star, all this in the backdrop of a pristine white. Sure this is an exhilirating moment for his supporters, fans and followers at the dawn of a new political beginning!
