Two years back when the brains behind mega scams like the CWG and the 2G Spectrum hadn’t yet been dirtied by the campaigns of the media, the writer in Kamal Hassan had the vision of making an adventurous film on the scourge of corruption. Now that he is about to wrap up 'Viswaroopam', Kamal Haasan is all geared up to kick start it in two languages – Hindi and Tamil. The movie will be directed by Kamal himself, who will play the lead role too.

The Hindi version has been titled 'Amar Hain' and it will take on corruption, one of the important issues that's hindering the progress of the country. Interestingly, Kamal has written this script a couple of years ago itself.

But I had to wait for the right time. I needed great inputs, in terms of content and finance. Now that I believe I am ready on both counts, I am going to start Amar Hain, after completing Viswaroopam, says Kamal.

Meanwhile, sources close to 'Viswaroopam' unit say the super star might release the movie come summer. Being made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, the multi-crore extravaganza is touted to be an action adventure. Incidentally, the movie is said to have a short dance sequence, which is considered as the highlight. In this Kamal himself will be seen performing Kathak, that has been choreographed by the legendary dance guru Birju Maharaj.
