In the wake of Coronavirus pandemic, state chief ministers and the prime minister have constituted Relief funds to help people in the crisis times, and to fight the war against the invisible virus.

With many top industrialists like Adani, Azim Premji coming forward to contribute huge for relief measures, actors from all the film industries of the country have also contributed huge. Yesterday, Thala Ajith had contributed 1.25 crores for the relief works.

Appreciating Ajith's huge donation, Tamil Nadu Minister of information and publicity, Kadambur Raju has thanked the actor and has urged other actors also to come forward and donate towards the relief funds. The minister also slammed Kamal Haasan for his open letter to PM Narendra Modi, saying that this is not the time to criticize and the actor can rather give suggestions for relief activities.
