Kamal to leave city

When appeals are being made to the government to rename the famous Eldams Road in Chennai to Dr. Kamal Haasan Road, the man himself seems to have other plans. Kamal Haasan fans may not be able to call their super star ‘Alwarpettai Andava’ any more as Kamal will be shifting his residence from the bustling Eldams Road to a serene bungalow in the outskirts of Sholinganallur.

The Sholinganallur home will have most of the things Kamal cannot live without. A preview Theatre, a Swimming Pool, a Joggers Park, an ultra-modern gym, a modern art gallery they are all there according to sources.

Some solace to the fans is that Kamal will continue to use his Eldams Road house for all his official affairs in Rajkamal Productions. So he will remain ‘Alwarpettai Andava’ for some more time.
