Kamalini Mukherjee, the Bengali girl, who won the hearts of Telugus with two of her, films 'Anand' and 'Godavari’, is almost ready to quit the films.

In fact, she bagged Nandi award for her performance in 'Anand'. Presently she is playing a special role opposite Kamal Haasan for a Tamil film 'Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu' (Magadheera in Telugu).

She says, 'Kamal Haasan is my favourite hero right from my childhood. My dream has come true after working with him in a film. My character had earned a good name in 'Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu' and several letters are pouring in, besides many a phone call. In fact, several producers are offering me roles in their films with the success of my films in Telugu and other languages. My career began with modeling and I turned a heroine. But I am not in a mood to continue in films and wanted to return to my modeling, as I am not able to do ad films, as I am busy with my regular film shoots.'

When asked to emulate Jyothika and Asin, who were prospering in both the fields, she expressed her opinion that she is not interested in films any more. The audiences found an excellent performer in her. Hope she would change her decision.
