Raghava Lawrence has been known for his succesful Muni/ Kanchana franchise and after the blockbuster result of the first three parts of the movie, the fourth which got released last Friday has turned out to be a superb success as well taking great openings.

Even as Muni 4/ Kanchana 3 has taken a 20 crores+ opening worldwide, the director is all set to begin his next Directorial venture which is going to be his Bollywood debut, and will be the remake of the second part of Muni series, Kanchana.

The Bollywood remake of Kanchana has been titled as Laxmi reportedly and the movie will feature Akshay Kumar in lead role with Kiara Advani playing his romantic interest. The Tamil version starred Raghava Lawrence, Sarathkumar and Raai Laxmi.
