Kangana Ranaut responds to Vir Dass viral  Two Indias monologue

A bit from comedian Vir Das's recent show at John F Kennedy Centre has gotten viral and it has polarised the audience. In his monologue titled 'Two Indias', Vir Das shared that India has countless things to admire and be proud of yet there are things which are problematic and need to be changed. While many celebs and politicians were impressed with his raw and blunt telling of facts, there were also some who were agitated by his remarks.

Actress Kangana Ranaut also found the show quite problematic and she responded to it in her trademark style. She took to her Instagram stories and shared a old tweet of Vir Das and wrote, "Example of creepy Indian man, who is good for nothing so he sells his sleaze for a living to equally creepy and sexist-racist audience.”

Talking directly about the 'Two Indias' part, Kangana found Vir's statement about rape culture quite absurd. She wrote, "When you generalise all Indian men as gang-rapists it gives rise and encouragement to racism and bullying against Indians all over the world... after Bengal Famine Churchill famously said, ‘These Indians breed like rabbits they are bound to die like this...’ he blamed Indians’ sex drive/fertility for the death of millions because of hunger... Such creative work targeting an entire race is soft terrorism... strict actions must be taken against such criminals @virdas.”
