This news may shock all the ‘Queen’ fans! Buzz is that this Vikas Bahl directorial and Kangana Ranaut starrer is a copy of Parvati Balagopalan’s unreleased 2006 movie ‘Phir Zindagi’ - written by Abhigyan Jha, starring Gul Panag and Milind Soman in lead.

Sources claim that although the treatment is different, the stories of both the films are similar - that a girl who is dumped by bridegroom a day before marriage, goes off to her honeymoon alone and comes back with different outlook towards life. It is said that the makers of ‘Phir Zindagi’ had showed ‘Queen’ helmer their film way back in 2006 when he was working with UTV Spotboy. However then the film didn’t see the light owing to certain issues. Now the makers, who recently saw ‘Queen’, are upset to see Vikas Bahl having adopted their film’s theme. They also found out that in fact few scenes have been lifted from ‘Phir Zindagi’. "The screenplay is slightly different, but the basic premise of a girl going for her honeymoon alone is the same," claimed Jha in an interview.

But Parvati Balagopalan doesn’t want to make the issue big and go legal way since ‘Queen’ has already painted the tinsel town with its successful story and it will be futile to fight back in such situation as it will create much more hype. "Because Queen is successful, we may not be able to release our film. The characters are different, but the premise is exactly same," stated Balagopalan who is more upset with the fact that Vikas had seen their film and had he not seen it then they would have considered the issue as mere coincidence.
