Kangana's transformation suits 'Thalaivi'

Kangana Ranaut turns into Jayalalithaa

Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is playing late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha in a biopic directed by AL Vijay.  To be released in multiple languages, it comes with the caption: "The legend we know, but the story that is yet to be told!" 

The news is that Kangana has completely undergone a transformation for the titular role in the movie.  Jason Collins, a Hollywood make-up artiste, has done the prosthetics.  He was previously associated with 'Captain Marvel' and 'Blade Runner 2049', among others.  

GV Prakash Kumar is composing the music.  Nirav Shah is the cinematographer.  Arvind Swamy will be playing MGR in this political biopic. 

The film will hit the screens on 26 June 2020.
