Sony LIV has unveiled the chilling teaser for its upcoming thriller KanKhajura, a gripping Hindi adaptation of the acclaimed Israeli series Magpie. Set against the eerie, quiet backdrop of Goa, the series delves into a world where silence is deceptive and lurking dangers are far more menacing than what meets the eye.

The teaser offers a haunting glimpse into a story where buried secrets simmer beneath the surface, guilt haunts every corner, and the past relentlessly demands its due. When two estranged brothers are forced to face their darkest memories, the boundaries between truth and recollection blur, trapping them in a prison of their own making.

Roshan Mathew, portraying Ashu, shares his thoughts on the project:

"What drew me to ‘KanKhajura’ was its emotional depth and the intense stillness beneath the chaos. Ashu is a complex character—fragile at times, yet harboring a quiet storm within. The story is both heartwarming and haunting. Every relationship here is flawed, and exploring how these cracks shape the characters is truly fascinating."

Produced by Ajay Rai and helmed by director Chandan Arora, KanKhajura features a talented ensemble cast including Mohit Raina, Roshan Mathew, Sarah Jane Dias, Mahesh Shetty, Ninad Kamat, Trinetra Haldar, Heeba Shah, and Usha Nadkarni. The show has been officially licensed and reimagined by creators Adam Bizanski, Omri Shenhar, and Dana Eden of Donna and Shula Productions, delivering a powerful narrative about fractured families, betrayal, and the precarious line between guilt and survival.
