'Kanna Laddu Thinna...' is no remake

Rama Narayanan, who is producing 'Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya' in association with Santhanam, has refuted reports that the film is a remake of K Bhagyaraj's yesteryear blockbuster 'Indru Poi Naalai Vaa'.
Just because there are three heroes (Santhanam, 'Power Star' Dr Srinivasan and 'VTV' Ganesh) and one heroine (Visaka) in this movie, it doesn't mean that the story is inspired by Indru Poi Naalai Vaa, he says.
Director Manigandan has come out with a fresh script, having Santhanam and Power Star in mind. All that I can say at this point of time is 'Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya' will be a funny entertainer, the veteran adds.
'Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya' marks Santhanam's entry as a producer. Meanwhile, the buzz is that Rama Narayanan, in a bid to avoid any controversy, has acquired the remake rights of 'Indru Poi Naalai Vaa'.
