Vishnu Manchu’s highly anticipated devotional epic Kannappa is all set to create waves at the global box office. The film has officially opened ticket bookings in North America, with Indian bookings scheduled to begin tomorrow.

With over 5,400 screens locked worldwide, Kannappa is gearing up for one of the largest releases ever for a devotional Telugu film. In India, the film will hit 4,300+ screens, covering all major premium formats including IMAX, ScreenX, and 4DX. Internationally, it will premiere in 1,100+ locations, with 200+ premiere shows planned across the U.S. — a record-breaking feat for a Telugu devotional drama.

The team is aiming high, eyeing a ₹100 crore worldwide opening weekend, signaling strong confidence in the film’s universal appeal.

“Our vision is to bring Bhakta Kannappa’s timeless devotion into every household. If audiences receive the film with the same love we poured into making it, the numbers will follow naturally,” said Vishnu Manchu, who also plays the titular role.

Kannappa boasts a star-studded ensemble, featuring Akshay Kumar, Mohanlal, Prabhas, Mohan Babu, R. Sarathkumar, and Brahmanandam in pivotal roles.

The film is slated for a grand theatrical release on June 27, and early buzz suggests it could be one of the biggest devotional blockbusters in Indian cinema history.
