Kapil Dev suffers heart attack, condition stable after angioplasty

Former India cricket captain Kapil Dev on Friday reportedly suffered a heart attack, following which he underwent angioplasty at a private hospital in New Delhi. The operation took place in the midnight.

The health of the 61-year-old legend is stable.

ANI reported that the cricketer came to Fortis Escorts Heart Institute at 1 am. After doctors evaluated him, they assessed that he needed an emergency coronary angioplasty.

Currently in the ICU, he will be discharged a couple of days from now.
