Karan Johar misses Salman

Don't get any ideas now.... What we mean is that B-town's favourite filmmaker Karan Johar was too keen to have 'Dabangg' star Salman Khan to play the lead in his project. But sadly, Sallu miyaan said to have given a miss to his offer.

Birdies in the circles reveal that Karan wanted to sign Salman as a hero for his next movie to be bannered under his Dharma Productions. KJo said to have even sent 'Kurbaan' famed director Rensil D'Silva to narrate the film's story to Salman. However, the B-town’s hot macho turned it down, citing that the script was not so interesting.

Whereas, some sources claim that the actual reason behind his refusal was that already Salman is having his hands full with projects like 'Ek Tha Tiger', 'Sher', 'Dabangg' sequel and 'Kick'.

Following his blockbuster movie 'Dabangg', Salman has become a hot property in the industry. His recent 'Ready' only added to the fact that he is one of the most bankable actors. So this has not stopped Karan to approach the star, who is considered to be favourite rival of the filmmaker's close buddy Shah Rukh Khan. But remember Sallu bhai had done cameo for Karan's hit film 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai', which had SRK in lead...

Hmmm, better luck next time, Karan....
