Kareena doesn't want Ayushmann?

At a time when stars are willing to experiment and work with fresh team and co-stars, here's our B-Town Begum who doesn't want to compromise over the brand factor. If sources are to be believed then, the director of 'Udta Punjab', Abhishek Chaubey had to drop Ayushmann Khurrana from the project after Kareena Kapoor-Khan expressed her wish. It is said that the actress claimed that she would like to be cast opposite big stars and doesn't want to share screen with Ayushmann who is very young for her.

While sources close to Ayushmann confirmed this, they added that anyways he wouldn't be able to do 'Udta Punjab' as his dates are already locked for the promotions of his two upcoming films 'Hawaizaada' and 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha'.

Incidentally 'Udta Punjab' boasts of bringing together ex-lovers Kareena and Shahid Kapoor in lead. However, talks are that Bebo agreed on this after she set down a condition; such that she doesn't have any scenes with the actor. So Alia Bhatt will be playing Shahid's on screen lady.
