Is this the title of 'Karthi 27'? Hot updates on the Karthi & Arvind Swamy starrer!

Karthi is one of the leading actors with an exciting lineup in the industry. His upcoming film slate includes several sequel projects. We already informed you that he joined hands with director Premkumar of '96' fame for a new movie. Tentatively called 'Karthi 27', it was announced a few months ago.
This film is said to be a story based on friendship with Karthi in the lead role and Arvind Swamy as the antagonist. The shooting is going in full swing now. Swathi Konde is the leading lady in the movie which has music composed by Govind Vasantha. If the reports are to be believed, 'Karthi 27' is titled 'Mei Azhagan'. We have to wait for an official word.
On the work front, Karthi is also working on director Nalan Kumarasamy's 'Karthi 26' with Krithi Shetty as the heroine. It is said that it is a story about an MGR fan and is titled 'Vaa Vaathiyare'. The actor will move to 'Kaithi 2' by this year's end after completing the ongoing projects. He also has 'Sardar 2' in his pipeline.
