Actor Karthi who was busy shooting for the magnum opus of Manirathnam's Ponniyin Selvan wrapped his portion and made it official on Twitter. He recently announced his second collaboration with director Muthaiah after the rural blockbuster 'Komban'. Titled 'Viruman',
Aditi Shankar, daughter of maverick filmmaker Shankar will be making her acting debut in this film. Viruman was recently launched with a muhurat puja and the team has opted for Theni - a hillock town near Madurai to commence the first schedule.
According to sources, Aditi is expected to play a bold and caring Madurai girl. The actress who landed in Viruman after completing her audition is named Thenmozhi in this film. Speaking about Aditi, she is a doctor by profession and but her dream was to become an actress. She recently visited Rajinikanth in his residence and got his blessings.
Prakash Raj, Soori, RK Suresh, and others play supporting roles in this village drama Produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainment. Rajkiran also plays a pivotal role in Viruman.
