'Viruman' is the next immediate release for actor Karthi among his upcoming films. He has joined hands with director Muthaiya for the second time after 'Komban' for this mass rural entertainer. The movie team launched the songs and trailer of 'Viruman' at the grand audio launch event in Madurai, last night.

The 2.5- minute trailer opens with the mother's words to the protagonist followed by a mass entry for Karthi as Viruman. He is a versatile actor who transforms into the role he takes up and playing a villager is a cake walk for him. Karthi adds more charm and charisma to the 'Viruman' character. The video shows Viruman locking horns with his father and tahsildar played by Prakash Raj.

As we reported earlier, Viruman is all about father-son relationship. Ace director Shankar's daughter Aditi is making her acting debut as the romantic interest to Karthi in Viruman. The film also stars Karunas, Soori, Rajkiran, RK Suresh, Vadivukkarasi, Manoj Bharathiraja, Saranya Ponvannan, Singam Puli, Ilavarasu, Vasumithra, Rajkumar, Indraja, Arundhati, Myna Nandhini and Indhumathi in supporting roles.

The trailer has all proper ingredients starting from exhilarating stunt episodes to beautiful songs to worthy comedy portions for a wholesome family entertainer. Yuvan Shankar Raja's background score, Selvakumar SK's visuals and Venkat Raajen's cuts make the trailer more delightful. Looks like, the movie is going to be an enjoyment for the fans in the cinema halls. Produced by Suriya-Jyothika's 2D Entertainment, Viruman is all set to hit the silver screens worldwide on August 12.
