Karthi is Ayirathil Oruvan

Director Selvaraghavan has titled his directorial venture starring Paruthiveeran fame Karthi and Reema Sen as Ayirathil Oruvan.
Interestingly, Ayirathil Oruvan was a yesteryear blockbuster featuring MGR, Jayalalithaa in the lead roles. The movie brought laurels to MGR and also helped him stabilize his political career.
The new Ayirathil Oruvan will go to floors this August. A racy thriller, Ayirathil Oruvan would have musical score by Yuvanshankar Raja.
Buzz is that Dhanush (Selvah's brother) will play a guest role in the movie. Karthi is on a roll after his maiden venture Paruthiveeran went on to become a big hit of the year.
