Makers of Karthi's 'Japan' planning a special surprise for the fans? - Exciting updates

Karthi, one of the leading Tamil actors, tasted huge success in the 'Ponniyin Selvan' saga directed by Mani Ratnam. He is currently working on his next projects - 'Japan' by director Raju Murugan and an untitled film by director Nalan Kumarasamy.
It is worth mentioning that Japan is the 25th film in Karthi's filmography. The much-awaited movie is touted to be an intriguing heist thriller with the actor playing dual roles. Now, sources say that the makers are planning to launch a glimpse video on Thursday (May 25) as Karthi's birthday special. The movie's release date is expected to be announced with it.
Japan is said to be aiming for a Vinayagar Chathurthi weekend release. The film produced by Dream Warrior Pictures has Anu Emmanuel as the female lead. The shooting of the movie is expected to be wrapped up by June. The technical team includes GV Prakash as the composer, Ravi Varman as the DOP and Philomin Raj as the editor.
