Karthi to reunite with the 'Madras' makers? - Hot updates

Karthi is a prominent actor in the Tamil industry today. His choice of films are hugely welcomed by the audience and he has promising projects in his pipeline. Director Pa Ranjith's 'Madras' is one of the career-defining films in Karthi's career. The movie was released on 26th September 2014 and earned an outstanding critical and commercial response.
According to the latest reports, Karthi is gearing up to reunite with Pa Ranjith and Studio Green for the second time. It is said that the new project will be officially announced on the 10th release anniversary of Madras (September 2024). The shooting is expected to commence by the end of 2024. Notably, Ranjith had earlier approached Karthi to play the lead in his sports drama 'Sarpatta Parambarai' but he couldn't do it due to date issues.
Sources tell us that the 'Madras' combo is definitely coming back together this time. Pa Ranjith is currently busy with the post-production of his upcoming release 'Thangalaan' starring Chiyaan Vikram.
